In her role as Managing Partner, Taraneh Azad has played a key role in building Systemiq into a resilient, agile and trusted system change company. 

She has over 25 years’ experience in finance, energy and business development through senior leadership positions at major investment institutions, including Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley and Hartree, where she worked mostly with corporates and sovereigns in Europe and the Middle East on their energy price risk management. 
 
Taraneh’s early career saw her doing international development work for the EU and the United Nations. A German, English and Persian native speaker, Taraneh has worked in many countries around the globe.
